The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cenan Nefi showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Erdi Öktuna made a kick off. With a little luck, Gemerek's Cenan Nefi got control of the ball when Cevahir Lokman tried to sneak it across the goal line. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zülfü Kutsan couldn't finish the play. If Cevahir Lokman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 87 minutes, Cevahir Lokman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Burdurspor's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cevahir Lokman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cenan Nefi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zülfü Kutsan, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute.
