Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Burdurspor's Zülfü Kutsan started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Nuri Demiroğlu was out of position in the 4 minute of play, and Zülfü Kutsan capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Zülfü Kutsan really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Cüneyd Cesman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hayrettin Onur in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mehmet Bedri Canıtez saved Burdurspor from getting behind. Cevahir Lokman's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 17thth minute, Nuri Demiroğlu skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Burdurspor's Zülfü Kutsan slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Nuri Demiroğlu. That made the score 2-0 after 20 minutes of play. Şinasi Hancı charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Şinasi Hancı the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Nuri Demiroğlu was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Kurtuluş Usbey. After 25 played minutes Burdurspor got a freekick which was hit by Teoman Sabi. After 26 played minutes Burdurspor got a freekick which was hit by Teoman Sabi. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cüneyd Cesman in the 31st minute of play forced Burdurspor's goalkeeper Mehmet Bedri Canıtez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nuri Demiroğlu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zülfü Kutsan in the 36th minute of the match. Zülfü Kutsan who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 37thth minute tested the skills of Nuri Demiroğlu when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Red Dragons F.C's Nuri Demiroğlu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Red Dragons F.C from getting a goal against them. Aşkın Ulutay charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aşkın Ulutay the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Red Dragons F.C:s Nuri Demiroğlu showed great skill when he stopped Kurtuluş Usbey:s penalty. Şinasi Hancı hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Cüneyd Cesman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mehmet Bedri Canıtez having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cüneyd Cesman to make the kick off. If Cevahir Lokman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Zülfü Kutsan came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Burdurspor fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zülfü Kutsan couldn't finish the play. After having played for 60 minutes, Cevahir Lokman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Burdurspor's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cevahir Lokman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Cüneyd Cesman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Hayrettin Onur received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Mehmet Bedri Canıtez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Cüneyd Cesman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cevahir Lokman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Nuri Demiroğlu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zülfü Kutsan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 77 played minutes Red Dragons F.C got a freekick which was hit by Şinasi Hancı. In the 78th minute Zülfü Kutsan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nuri Demiroğlu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Red Dragons F.C's Hüsamettin İzzet got a free kick in the 81st minute. In the 82nd minute, Zülfü Kutsan made a precise shot to the right of Nuri Demiroğlu. Red Dragons F.C's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. Hayrettin Onur fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mehmet Bedri Canıtez having to interfere. When Red Dragons F.C's Cüneyd Cesman in the 89th minute got a chance for a shot 89th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Burdurspor's goalie prevented a goal. Zülfü Kutsan took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nuri Demiroğlu. Nuri Demiroğlu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. For all the effort they put into the match, the Red Dragons F.C players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Burdurspor.
