Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Erdi Öktuna started the match with the kick off. Atacan Dalan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 8th minute Emirhan Alptekin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cenan Nefi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mardin's Murat Barkın got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Buğrahan Lut charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Buğrahan Lut the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Buğrahan Lut kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. In the 13th minute, Tuncer Dertsiz sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Gemerek's Cenan Nefi didn't even have to move. When Ahmet Nasir Ünverdi fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mardin's protests and gave Ahmet Nasir Ünverdi a yellow card for diving instead. After 17 played minutes Mardin got a freekick which was hit by Ahmet Nasir Ünverdi. Gemerek's Ceyhan Sorgun got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Mardin's zone, Ceyhan Sorgun stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yusuf Dilşad came out of the goal and Ceyhan Sorgun tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Mardin fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 27th minute. Penalty! In the 30th minute there was a penalty for Gemerek. Bektaş Yaşar stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Yusuf Dilşad. 0-1. Atacan Dalan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Cenan Nefi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Emir Kamber fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cenan Nefi having to interfere. In the 45th minute, Atacan Dalan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cenan Nefi came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by Mardin's Atacan Dalan. But to his dismay, Atacan Dalan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Atacan Dalan made a kick off. Atacan Dalan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cenan Nefi having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Atacan Dalan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cenan Nefi was relentless in the 66th minute of the game. Ahmet Nasir Ünverdi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Gemerek's zone, Atacan Dalan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cenan Nefi came out of the goal and Atacan Dalan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cenan Nefi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Atacan Dalan in the 72nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Atacan Dalan in the 74th minute of play forced Gemerek's goalkeeper Cenan Nefi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ahmet Nasir Ünverdi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Emir Kamber fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mardin's protests and gave Emir Kamber a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Gemerek booed when Mardin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emir Kamber didn't get a good kick on the ball. Murat Barkın's late challenge caught a Gemerek's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Murat Barkın helped the player get up and apologised. In the 81st minute, Murat Barkın hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cenan Nefi came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by Mardin's Atacan Dalan. But to his dismay, Atacan Dalan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. 91 minutes into the match, Atacan Dalan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cenan Nefi. Gemerek's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Atacan Dalan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. 97 minutes into the match, Gemerek's goal looked a bit too open when Atacan Dalan came free, but Cenan Nefi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee ended the match the Mardin players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
