In the 3rd minute, Mustafa Anıl Ankara left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Denizli SK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Mustafa Anıl Ankara managed to get in a good position for a shot. Denizli SK's supporters rose to their feet, but Mustafa Anıl Ankara was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kunter Kurban breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Erdinç Temirkut kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Mehmet Ediz İncirli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kunter Kurban having to interfere. If Ramiz Oğuzkan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 20 minutes into the match, Cifteler's goal looked a bit too open when Mehmet Ediz İncirli came free, but Kunter Kurban reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Denizli SK booed when Cifteler was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Başar Çetinoz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kunter Kurban showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mehmet Ediz İncirli, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Ramiz Oğuzkan struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Fazlı Olcaytug didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cifteler. 30 minutes into the match, Ramiz Oğuzkan notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Denizli SK's Fazlı Olcaytug. Fazlı Olcaytug was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Cifteler getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Başar Çetinoz hit a great ball. The long shot by Işık Orbay in the 35th minute really tested Kunter Kurban's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. The audience was convinced that Mehmet Ediz İncirli's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kunter Kurban was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. Denizli SK's Mehmet Ediz İncirli got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 45 minutes into the match, Cifteler's goalkeeper Kunter Kurban had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mustafa Anıl Ankara. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Cifteler's Peyami Ünsev got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Mustafa Anıl Ankara's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kunter Kurban was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. Kunter Kurban showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mehmet Ediz İncirli in the 65th minute of the match. Afşar Rasih kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Peyami Ünsev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Fazlı Olcaytug tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Peyami Ünsev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kunter Kurban showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mehmet Ediz İncirli in the 85th minute of the match. Peyami Ünsev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cifteler's Kunter Kurban played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Battal Cerit in the 94th minute of play. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
