The audience was convinced that Kutluay Aktaç's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ahmet Boran Avcıoğlu was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mehmet Bedri Akkurt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sinan Şerafeddin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Tolga Kızılaslan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Şadi Kerem's late challenge caught a Gölköy SK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card.
