Mardinspor's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ergün Özbilgin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. In the 86th minute, Mardinspor's Selahaddin Eryetiş ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ahmet Korkut Dürüst. Ahmet Korkut Dürüst yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-4. In the 94th minute of the game Durmuş Oyalp made a throw-in which Orçun Merdan played forward. Mardinspor played a much better game than Carapas and deserved their victory. The Carapas players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
