The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. İshak Özbas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yücel Bektaş having to interfere. Ödemis SK's defense didn't have a chance, in the 13th minute, when Şahin Ertaş scored to the left of an out of position Yücel Bektaş, making the score, 3-0. Güney İmar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nuratay Şamil in the 17th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Ödemis SK's zone, Şahin Ertaş stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yücel Bektaş came out of the goal and Şahin Ertaş tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Ödemis SK's Yücel Bektaş got control of the ball when Şahin Ertaş tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, İshak Özbas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ruden Cook's supporters rose to their feet, but İshak Özbas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Yücel Bektaş breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 28 minutes, Vecdi Akyazı mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ödemis SK and the Ruden Cook players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee gave Ruden Cook a penalty, 29 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Zafer Patlar, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Ödemis SK's Yücel Bektaş. 4-0. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Ruden Cook's Şahin Ertaş got a free kick in the 45th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-1.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nuratay Şamil was the one to do the kick off. In the 88th minute, Zafer Patlar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Yücel Bektaş was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-1. Ödemis SK's Yücel Bektaş played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Göktürk Türker in the 91st minute of play. Şahin Ertaş sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Yücel Bektaş took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from İshak Özbas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Ruden Cook fully deserved thier win.
