In the 29th match minute, Nusaybin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sercan Torhan to maneuver through the defense. Saffet Batüralp took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yusuf Ziya Kargin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 32 minutes, Sercan Torhan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Nusaybin and the Merter players grew even worse after the yellow card. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Erim Başer stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Nusaybin's Ersin Ulualp got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nusaybin's defense didn't have a chance, in the 54th minute, when Hüsnü Belen scored to the left of an out of position Saffet Batüralp, making the score, 1-1. If Erim Başer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Demircan Tümenbay's late challenge caught a Nusaybin's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Demircan Tümenbay helped the player get up and apologised. In the 62nd match minute, Merter was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Demircan Tümenbay to maneuver through the defense.
