Ahmet Hayri Bircanoğlu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cüneyt Ilgaz having to interfere. 12 minutes into the match, Çayırhisar Spor Klübü's goal looked a bit too open when Emrullah Tunçkan came free, but Yasin İmren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fikri Adısönmez who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 14thth minute tested the skills of Yasin İmren when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Ahmet Hayri Bircanoğlu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Çayırhisar Spor Klübü's Yasin İmren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emrullah Tunçkan in the 24th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ahmet Hayri Bircanoğlu in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cüneyt Ilgaz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Kizilirmak booed when Çayırhisar Spor Klübü was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bedih Özdilmaç didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 28th minute, Tevfik Ahıska sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Çayırhisar Spor Klübü's Yasin İmren didn't even have to move. Hatemi Oskan kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. A long shot from Tevfik Ahıska in the 31st minute of play was well struck, but Yasin İmren made a really good save at the right post. If Emrullah Tunçkan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Çayırhisar Spor Klübü's Can Harmandalı got a free kick in the 46th minute. 47 minutes in the game, Emrullah Tunçkan dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

An unexpected shot in the 77th minute by Yaser Ulağ got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Yaser Ulağ in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cüneyt Ilgaz saved Kizilirmak from getting behind. Yaser Ulağ in the 80thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Cüneyt Ilgaz, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Yaser Ulağ got free with Cüneyt Ilgaz in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fikri Adısönmez in the 87th minute of play forced Çayırhisar Spor Klübü's goalkeeper Yasin İmren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Yasin İmren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emrullah Tunçkan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Çayırhisar Spor Klübü players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Kizilirmak from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
