Harem JK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hulusi Heper was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 30 minutes in the game, Mehmet Bilge Sanal fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Ahmet Kutsi Hafi having to interfere. If Kadir Akıncıbeyoğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Erhan Taybars to make the kick off. Van FK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Harem JK the free kick. After 95 played minutes Van FK got a freekick which was hit by Temel Kutal. The Van FK fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Harem JK were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
