Ahmet Baki Tezalp showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ahmet Kağan Özduran, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Gürün JK's zone, Ahmet Kağan Özduran stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ahmet Baki Tezalp came out of the goal and Ahmet Kağan Özduran tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Meriç Ersalmış hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. 25 minutes into the match, Gürün JK's goal looked a bit too open when Anıl Cenk Sanbay came free, but Ahmet Baki Tezalp reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Egirdir booed when Gürün JK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. İhsan Tokalp didn't get a good kick on the ball. Egirdir's Kılıçhan Ufuk got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ahmet Kağan Özduran's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ahmet Baki Tezalp read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. Haldun Bircan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Sadettin Dicle tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Haldun Bircan struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Sadettin Dicle didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gürün JK. Sadettin Dicle made an important save on a dangerous shot by Haldun Bircan in the 37th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anıl Cenk Sanbay in the 39th minute of play forced Gürün JK's goalkeeper Ahmet Baki Tezalp to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 70th minute Haldun Bircan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sadettin Dicle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
