Murathan Volkan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bircan Yalınalp in the 15th minute of the match. Bektaş Veli Yetişbey hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mehmet Osman Uluberk in the 20th minute of play forced Alucra FK's goalkeeper Murathan Volkan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 23rd minute Mehmet Osman Uluberk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Murathan Volkan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Murathan Volkan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bircan Yalınalp, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alucra FK's Murathan Volkan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bircan Yalınalp in the 26th minute of play. With his leg Tayfur Gerdaneri managed to avoid a goal in the 28thth minute, when Alucra FK's Ahmet Erdem Ergünay fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After some careless play in the Alucra FK defense, Mehmet Osman Uluberk kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Murathan Volkan. The Alucra FK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Murathan Volkan should have stopped the shot. Alucra FK's Murathan Volkan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bircan Yalınalp in the 33rd minute of play. Nazmi Çelik sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bircan Yalınalp stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, Alucra FK's Ahmet Erdem Ergünay sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tayfur Gerdaneri narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Mehmet Osman Uluberk in the 75thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. In the 86th match minute, Dereli JK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Battal Gazi Özdoruk to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Dereli JK booed when Alucra FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ahmet Ziya Sevgen didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nazmi Çelik in the 95th minute of play forced Dereli JK's goalkeeper Tayfur Gerdaneri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ahmet Erdem Ergünay struck a weak shot in the 97th minute. Tayfur Gerdaneri didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Alucra FK. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Alucra FK fans cheered their team off the field, for while Dereli JK had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
