The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Veysel Mümin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sungurhan Serhun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hasır Şapka Spor Kulübü's Veysel Mümin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sungurhan Serhun in the 6th minute of play. Kemalettin Ünveren could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Tahsin Subahi made a huge save. In the 12th minute, Kemalettin Ünveren made a precise shot to the right of Tahsin Subahi. Hacilar's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. In the 14th minute, İlker Cesimi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Hasır Şapka Spor Kulübü's İlker Cesimi got a free kick in the 16th minute. After 21 minutes, Kemalettin Ünveren made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Hacilar's Tahsin Subahi tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Tahsin Subahi made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Kemalettin Ünveren sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cihangir Akar in the 27th minute of play forced Hacilar's goalkeeper Tahsin Subahi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kemalettin Ünveren who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 30thth minute tested the skills of Tahsin Subahi when he managed to save the team from getting behind. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cihangir Akar in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tahsin Subahi saved Hacilar from getting behind. Hüseyin Şahbazoğlu charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hüseyin Şahbazoğlu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 36th minute, Hüseyin Şahbazoğlu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tahsin Subahi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cihangir Akar in the 36th minute of the match. In the 38th minute of the match Ömür Tanbolat shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tahsin Subahi showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 48 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Hacilar! All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sungurhan Serhun to strike the kick off in the second half. After 60 minutes of play, Hacilar's Kutluay Tuna made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Veysel Mümin was left in no man's land by his defense there! Tahsin Subahi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kemalettin Ünveren's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. Hacilar's Tahsin Subahi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cihangir Akar in the 65th minute of play. Cihangir Akar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tahsin Subahi having to interfere. In the 71stth minute of the game Cihangir Akar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hacilar's Tahsin Subahi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 77th minute, Hacilar's Sungurhan Serhun ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Veysel Mümin. Veysel Mümin yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-2. 82 minutes into the match, Hasır Şapka Spor Kulübü's goal looked a bit too open when Sungurhan Serhun came free, but Veysel Mümin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Sungurhan Serhun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kemalettin Ünveren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Hasır Şapka Spor Kulübü's Cihangir Akar in the 89th minute got a chance for a shot 89th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Tahsin Subahi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-2. Hacilar's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
