Balaban Güdü tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lacin's Balaban Güdü played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hazım Berkman in the 22nd minute of play. After 23 played minutes Lacin got a freekick which was hit by Boran Akçay. Hazım Berkman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Balaban Güdü showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ahmet Sedat Aydoğdu, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. In the 41st minute, Recai Özçınar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ramazan Veysel kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Battal Timurkan didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 45th minute, which inside left pole to 1-1. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hazım Berkman was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Boran Akçay in the 71st minute of play forced Sincanli SK's goalkeeper Battal Timurkan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Balaban Güdü didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sincanli SK. Balaban Güdü had great luck who in the 93rdth minute grab hold of the ball when Hazım Berkman from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Ahmet Sedat Aydoğdu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sincanli SK's supporters rose to their feet, but Ahmet Sedat Aydoğdu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Balaban Güdü breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Sincanli SK players' eyes.
