Cihangir Vahit took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hakkı Devrim Yorgun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cihangir Vahit made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hakkı Devrim Yorgun in the 19th minute. 22 minutes into the game, Anıl Cenk Tarkan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Cihangir Vahit was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After having played for 27 minutes, Hakkı Devrim Yorgun managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Akomspor's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hakkı Devrim Yorgun was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Anıl Ege Makbul made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yaşar Uzsoy in the 30th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Bedrettin Ayvazoğlu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Akomspor's supporters rose to their feet, but Bedrettin Ayvazoğlu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cihangir Vahit breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hakkı Devrim Yorgun got free with Cihangir Vahit in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bedrettin Ayvazoğlu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Cihangir Vahit tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bahtiyar Bekdil sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

A collision led to Akomspor getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Korkut Tarhun hit a great ball. Bedrettin Ayvazoğlu might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cihangir Vahit. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bedrettin Ayvazoğlu ran back to his position shaking his head. If Hakkı Devrim Yorgun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Hakkı Devrim Yorgun's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cihangir Vahit read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. Bedrettin Ayvazoğlu scored 2-0 in the 58th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cihangir Vahit, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Anıl Ege Makbul showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lütfü Dervişoğlu, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. In the 65th minute, Korkut Tarhun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Bagcilar FK defense, Bedrettin Ayvazoğlu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cihangir Vahit. The Bagcilar FK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cihangir Vahit should have stopped the shot. Bagcilar FK's Cihangir Vahit played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hakkı Devrim Yorgun in the 77th minute of play.
