Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Emirhan Irgatbaşı started the match with the kick off. Ahmet Göktuğ Karakan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gündüz Uzgoren made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ahmet Göktuğ Karakan in the 14th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Karaagac's Halit Fahri Ayıkoğlu slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Gündüz Uzgoren. That made the score 1-0 after 19 minutes of play. Halit Fahri Ayıkoğlu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Gündüz Uzgoren made a huge save. The Karaagac fans' excitement grew in the 25th match minute when Karaagac's Halit Fahri Ayıkoğlu looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The supporters of Celtik booed when Karaagac was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Okanalp Kayıboylu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ahmet Göktuğ Karakan might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gündüz Uzgoren. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ahmet Göktuğ Karakan ran back to his position shaking his head. Ahmet Göktuğ Karakan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gündüz Uzgoren having to interfere. Emirhan Irgatbaşı blasted a shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ahmet Necdet Tansoy having to make a save. When Mehmet Halis Ülgen fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Karaagac's protests and gave Mehmet Halis Ülgen a yellow card for diving instead. In the 45th minute, Mehmet Halis Ülgen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ahmet Göktuğ Karakan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Celtik's Arman Ongar sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ahmet Necdet Tansoy narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Emirhan Irgatbaşı ran back to his position shaking his head. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Halit Fahri Ayıkoğlu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Karaagac's supporters rose to their feet, but Halit Fahri Ayıkoğlu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gündüz Uzgoren breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 79 minutes, Halit Fahri Ayıkoğlu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Karaagac's supporters crossed their fingers, but Halit Fahri Ayıkoğlu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 85th minute Ahmet Göktuğ Karakan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gündüz Uzgoren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gündüz Uzgoren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Halit Fahri Ayıkoğlu, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. If Ahmet Göktuğ Karakan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Halit Fahri Ayıkoğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the referee ended the match the Karaagac players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
