The audience was convinced that Cahit Süner's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ahmet Reha Kutun was relentless in the 3rd minute of the game. When the match had gone on for 5 minutes, Cihangir Kazanhan put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Ahmet Reha Kutun. If Cihangir Kazanhan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 16 minutes into the game, Cihangir Kazanhan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Ahmet Reha Kutun was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Altinekin's defense didn't have a chance, in the 22nd minute, when Kuzey Artuç scored to the left of an out of position Atilla Tekin, making the score, 1-2. Atilla Tekin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kuzey Artuç, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Mustafa Birol Nahit fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ahmet Reha Kutun having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Altinekin's Özgür Burçak got a free kick in the 27th minute. Cahit Süner struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Ahmet Reha Kutun didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Altinekin. Özgür Burçak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cihangir Kazanhan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute of the match Harun Dahi shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Atilla Tekin showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 53 played minutes Kofcaz FK got a freekick which was hit by Harun Dahi. Ahmet Reha Kutun was out of position in the 54 minute of play, and Cihangir Kazanhan capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Cihangir Kazanhan really showed his touch with that goal: 1-3. If Mustafa Birol Nahit had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Kofcaz FK booed when Altinekin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ahmet Kutsi İlkay didn't get a good kick on the ball. Harun Dahi, 59 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Altinekin's Atilla Tekin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ferhan İftihar in the 61st minute of play. Ferhan İftihar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Atilla Tekin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 71st minute Kuzey Artuç shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Atilla Tekin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 73rd minute Cihangir Kazanhan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ahmet Reha Kutun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 77th minute Ferhan İftihar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Atilla Tekin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Atilla Tekin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zühtü Terzioğlu in the 78th minute of play. 79 minutes into the match, Altinekin's goal looked a bit too open when Ferhan İftihar came free, but Atilla Tekin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 80 played minutes Altinekin got a freekick which was hit by Ergincan Şahit. In the 82nd minute of the match Buğra Veysi shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Atilla Tekin showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Cihangir Kazanhan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ahmet Reha Kutun having to interfere. 89 minutes into the match, Kuzey Artuç had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Atilla Tekin. Altinekin's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kuzey Artuç was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. After a defensive mix-up in Altinekin's zone, Kuzey Artuç stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Atilla Tekin came out of the goal and Kuzey Artuç tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Harun Dahi took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 95th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Atilla Tekin. Altinekin's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 96 played minutes Altinekin got a freekick which was hit by Özgür Burçak. Altinekin played a much better game than Kofcaz FK and deserved their victory. The Kofcaz FK players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
