İstemihan Nesip recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A hard shot by Ceyhun Coşan from long distance, 11 minutes into the match, got Ilgaz Uraltay's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. If İstemihan Nesip had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a defensive mix-up in Erzincan FK's zone, İslam Kuthan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aytekin Balatürk came out of the goal and İslam Kuthan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. İstemihan Nesip received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Aytekin Balatürk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aytekin Balatürk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from İstemihan Nesip, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 30th minute, Ahmet Ceyhan Yükselir got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Köksal Tamerk came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Erzincan FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Köksal Tamerk couldn't finish the play. Ilgaz Uraltay showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ahmet Ceyhan Yükselir in the 33rd minute of the match. When Erzincan FK's Ahmet Ceyhan Yükselir, in the 34th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Erzincan FK. When the match had gone on for 38 minutes, İstemihan Nesip put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Aytekin Balatürk. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ahmet Ceyhan Yükselir stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When the match had gone on for 52 minutes, İslam Kuthan took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Aytekin Balatürk to make any attempt to save it. Aytekin Balatürk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from İstemihan Nesip in the 55th minute of the match. When İstemihan Nesip came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Aslanlar fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that İstemihan Nesip couldn't finish the play. If İstemihan Nesip had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Erzincan FK's Aytekin Balatürk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by İslam Kuthan in the 69th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Erzincan FK's Ahmet Bedri Sara got a free kick in the 74th minute. A hard shot by Yusuf Bahadır Tanır from long distance, 74 minutes into the match, got Aytekin Balatürk's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Aslanlar's Ilgaz Uraltay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ahmet Ceyhan Yükselir in the 76th minute of play. After having played for 83 minutes, İslam Kuthan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Aslanlar's supporters crossed their fingers, but İslam Kuthan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ahmet Ceyhan Yükselir in the 88th minute of play forced Aslanlar's goalkeeper Ilgaz Uraltay to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Erzincan FK booed when Aslanlar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sungurhan Naim didn't get a good kick on the ball. Köksal Tamerk blasted a shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ilgaz Uraltay having to make a save. In the 94th minute, Ahmet Ceyhan Yükselir left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Erzincan FK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Aslanlar were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
