Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) When the match clock showed 3 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Burak Eskici sped through Akören JK's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ahmet Necdet Şakib. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bayındır Mehmet Kutsal in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Refik Karanalp prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bayındır Mehmet Kutsal in the 9th minute of play forced Merter SK's goalkeeper Refik Karanalp to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Refik Karanalp made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Afşin Çavlı in the 10th minute of play. Afşin Çavlı recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 16 minutes of play, Akören JK's Afşin Çavlı made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Refik Karanalp was left in no man's land by his defense there! With an all-out effort, Merter SK's Ahmet Necdet Şakib threw himself towards the right post 20 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Burak Eskici, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 22 minutes into the game, Bayındır Mehmet Kutsal cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Refik Karanalp was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Uluç Uğur could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Ahmet Necdet Şakib made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abdi Mehmet Sağan in the 39th minute of play forced Merter SK's goalkeeper Refik Karanalp to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Bayındır Mehmet Kutsal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bayındır Mehmet Kutsal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Refik Karanalp having to interfere. 49 minutes into the match, Merter SK's goal looked a bit too open when Bayındır Mehmet Kutsal came free, but Refik Karanalp reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Afşin Çavlı was the one to do the kick off. Ahmet Necdet Şakib made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Burak Eskici in the 55th minute of play.
