The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mehmet Hamdi Ülgü during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Merter SK's Mehmet Hamdi Ülgü got a free kick in the 17th minute. The supporters of Aslanlar booed when Merter SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ferdi Şah didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ilgaz Uraltay showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Burak Eskici, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. İslam Kuthan might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Refik Karanalp. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. İslam Kuthan ran back to his position shaking his head. Alişan Tekgül hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. 35 minutes into the match, Aslanlar's İslam Kuthan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Refik Karanalp narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Merter SK's Ahmet Çağrı Kutal got a free kick in the 36th minute. İstemihan Nesips short, quick shot in the 38thth minute got Refik Karanalp to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 43rd minute İslam Kuthan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Refik Karanalp saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Refik Karanalp showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from İslam Kuthan, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Refik Karanalp showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from İstemihan Nesip in the 52nd minute of the match. Refik Karanalp made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from İslam Kuthan in the 53rd minute of play. 60 minutes into the match, Merter SK's goal looked a bit too open when İslam Kuthan came free, but Refik Karanalp reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 62 minutes, Ferdi Şah mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Merter SK and the Aslanlar players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 70th match minute, Merter SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Semih Eskici to maneuver through the defense. İstemihan Nesip scored 2-0 in the 71st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Refik Karanalp, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 75 minutes into the match, Merter SK's goal looked a bit too open when İslam Kuthan came free, but Refik Karanalp reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Refik Karanalp showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from İslam Kuthan in the 78th minute of the match. Refik Karanalp came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by Aslanlar's İstemihan Nesip. But to his dismay, İstemihan Nesip quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Refik Karanalp took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from İstemihan Nesip, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. İstemihan Nesip received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Refik Karanalp tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. İslam Kuthan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Refik Karanalp having to interfere. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Aslanlar had played much better football throughout.
