Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Marek Halenár started the match with the kick off. After having played for 3 minutes, Gürhan Kılıçdaroğlu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Balıkesirspors's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gürhan Kılıçdaroğlu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Menteşe FK's Anıl Cenk Türk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nazil Doğu in the 6th minute of play. Tamer Şenyaşar might have been able to make a better finish in the 9th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Metin Şahit. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tamer Şenyaşar ran back to his position shaking his head. 10 minutes into the match, Nazil Doğu notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Menteşe FK's Anıl Cenk Türk. Anıl Cenk Türk was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 16th match minute, Balıkesirspors was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mustafa Kemal Babürşah to maneuver through the defense. Marek Halenár could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Metin Şahit made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Menteşe FK's İlmi Bozok got a free kick in the 27th minute. Metin Şahit showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marek Halenár in the 29th minute of the match. Lütfi Üner received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Metin Şahit tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Marek Halenár had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 35 played minutes Balıkesirspors got a freekick which was hit by Mustafa Kemal Babürşah. If Tamer Şenyaşar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tamer Şenyaşar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mustafa Kemal Babürşah to strike the kick off in the second half. Metin Şahit took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tamer Şenyaşar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 55th minute, İlmi Bozok hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Metin Şahit made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marek Halenár in the 58th minute of play. In the 62nd minute, Gafur Tara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gürhan Kılıçdaroğlu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Anıl Cenk Türk made a huge save. İlmi Bozok's late challenge caught a Balıkesirspors's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. İlmi Bozok helped the player get up and apologised. İlmi Bozok hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Balıkesirspors's Metin Şahit played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tamer Şenyaşar in the 72nd minute of play. When Lütfi Üner fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Menteşe FK's protests and gave Lütfi Üner a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Menteşe FK getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Lütfi Üner hit a great ball. In the 77th minute of the match Battal Seyyit Köker shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Anıl Cenk Türk showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 77th match minute, Menteşe FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kutlualp Yağızhan to maneuver through the defense. Tamer Şenyaşar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Metin Şahit having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Arın Ferhat Mustafali during the 95th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Balıkesirspors booed when Menteşe FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arın Ferhat Mustafali didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the final whistle went the supporters of Balıkesirspors were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Menteşe FK side.
