To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alim Tanın was the one to do the kick off. Alim Tanın received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Batıray Sulhi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alim Tanın in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Batıray Sulhi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Ahmet Ozan Patlar came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Galatasaray fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ahmet Ozan Patlar couldn't finish the play. Alim Tanın received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Batıray Sulhi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 93 minutes in the game, Anıl Mücahit Çoğun fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Ekrem Çelikhan having to interfere. Alim Tanın sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Galatasaray fully deserved thier win.
