Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Aytunç Kemal started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 3rdth minute of the game Tuncay Başhekim who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Maslak Halayı's İbrahim Ethem Metin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Karhan Muammer might have been able to make a better finish in the 5th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over İbrahim Ethem Metin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Karhan Muammer ran back to his position shaking his head. 8 minutes into the match, Maslak Halayı's goal looked a bit too open when Karhan Muammer came free, but İbrahim Ethem Metin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tuncay Başhekim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without İbrahim Ethem Metin having to interfere. 19 minutes into the game, Fehmi Onursev was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Maslak Halayı's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Edirne the free kick. After 28 minutes, Aytaç Pala mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Maslak Halayı and the Edirne players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 30 played minutes, Edirne's Ahmet Gündüz Güler shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper İbrahim Ethem Metin came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Edirne reached it. In the 31st minute the ball was on its way in behind Maslak Halayı's goalkeeper İbrahim Ethem Metin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 36th minute, Aytunç Kemal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Murathan Yaşar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aytunç Kemal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 42 minutes of play, Edirne's Karhan Muammer made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. İbrahim Ethem Metin was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Maslak Halayı players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Edirne were winning 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tuncay Başhekim was the one to do the kick off. Karhan Muammer in the 53rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of İbrahim Ethem Metin, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Aytaç Pala hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Edirne's zone, Aytunç Kemal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Murathan Yaşar came out of the goal and Aytunç Kemal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Karhan Muammer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tuncay Başhekim in the 62nd minute of play forced Maslak Halayı's goalkeeper İbrahim Ethem Metin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. İbrahim Ethem Metin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Resul Okanay in the 65th minute. 68 minutes into the match, Edirne's goal looked a bit too open when Aytunç Kemal came free, but Murathan Yaşar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Murathan Yaşar didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aytunç Kemal went, in the 72nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Erenay Beyazit received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Murathan Yaşar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 83 played minutes Maslak Halayı got a freekick which was hit by Polat Vahip. After 83 played minutes, Edirne's Ercüment Tanırcan shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper İbrahim Ethem Metin came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. Murathan Yaşar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erenay Beyazit in the 91st minute of the match. Aytunç Kemal struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Murathan Yaşar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Maslak Halayı. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Maslak Halayı players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
