The audience thought a goal was coming when Aysan Yaslı got free with Şenol Sırat in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 7 minutes into the match, Solhan SK's Kurtuluş Uma sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Yahya Kemal Çeliksu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 8thth minute of the game Beyhan Dokuzer who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Solhan SK's Şenol Sırat was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ayas's Beyhan Dokuzer got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lütfi Betik received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Yahya Kemal Çeliksu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Solhan SK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kurtuluş Uma was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 25th minute Kurtuluş Uma shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yahya Kemal Çeliksu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Solhan SK's Önder Özgener pulled a muscle in his back after 29 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Ali Asım Binalp charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ali Asım Binalp the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Ayas getting a freekick after 30 minutes play.
