Yahya Kemal Çeliksu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Batuğ Bahçeli went, in the 11th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Yahya Kemal Çeliksu made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Ahmet Arif Lefter sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ahmet Arif Lefter in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Yahya Kemal Çeliksu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aysan Yaslı in the 18th minute of play forced Biga's goalkeeper Bumin Şahbey to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bumin Şahbey took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aysan Yaslı, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 21 played minutes Biga got a freekick which was hit by Genco Kılıçer. In the 24thth minute of the game Ahmet Arif Lefter who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ayas's Yahya Kemal Çeliksu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 25 minutes into the game, Beyhan Dokuzer cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Bumin Şahbey was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Abdulbaki Tuğsavan charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Abdulbaki Tuğsavan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Bumin Şahbey was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Kuddusî Esentürk could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Yahya Kemal Çeliksu made a huge save. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

Yahya Kemal Çeliksu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Batuğ Bahçeli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Batuğ Bahçeli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yahya Kemal Çeliksu having to interfere. 60 minutes into the match, Ahmet Arif Lefter had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Yahya Kemal Çeliksu. The audience was convinced that Batuğ Bahçeli's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Yahya Kemal Çeliksu was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. When Bedri Özgur fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ayas's protests and gave Bedri Özgur a yellow card for diving instead. In the 76th match minute, Ayas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bedri Özgur to maneuver through the defense. 77 minutes into the match, Biga's Ahmet Arif Lefter sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Yahya Kemal Çeliksu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 80 minutes, Ali Asım Binalp mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ayas and the Biga players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Biga booed when Ayas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ali Asım Binalp didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Biga getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Kuddusî Esentürk hit a great ball. Bumin Şahbey was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Beyhan Dokuzer showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-3 in the 86 minute of play. In the 89th minute, Ahmet Arif Lefter got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kuddusî Esentürk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Yahya Kemal Çeliksu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Ahmet Arif Lefter came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Biga fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ahmet Arif Lefter couldn't finish the play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Biga fully deserved thier win.
