Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tayyar Ruşen in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bayezit Devan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Sertel Uluç had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. Ahmet Boran Kayaalp was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Ahmet Ceyhan Timuroz. Ahmet Boran Kayaalp made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sertel Uluç in the 12th minute of play. 14 minutes into the match, Yazihan's goal looked a bit too open when Korcan Türek came free, but Bayezit Devan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 19th minute Sertel Uluç shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ahmet Boran Kayaalp saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by İrfan Aydın in the 20th minute of play forced Yazihan's goalkeeper Bayezit Devan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 22nd minute, İrfan Aydın ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bayezit Devan was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Anamur's Ahmet Boran Kayaalp played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sertel Uluç in the 26th minute of play. In the 30th match minute, Anamur was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Korcan Türek to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Yazihan's Tunç Ayazoğlu slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ahmet Boran Kayaalp. That made the score 1-1 after 31 minutes of play. Ahmet Boran Kayaalp made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sertel Uluç in the 34th minute of play. Vacid Tandoğan charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vacid Tandoğan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and İrfan Aydın made a kick off. Tayyar Ruşen succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-2 in the 51st playminute. Sertel Uluç received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Ahmet Boran Kayaalp tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bayezit Devan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from İrfan Aydın, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bayezit Devan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from İrfan Aydın, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Anamur's zone, Sertel Uluç stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ahmet Boran Kayaalp came out of the goal and Sertel Uluç tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Anamur's Ahmet Kadri Özdener got a free kick in the 67th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Anamur's zone, Sertel Uluç stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ahmet Boran Kayaalp came out of the goal and Sertel Uluç tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Sertel Uluç's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ahmet Boran Kayaalp was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. In the 71st match minute, Anamur was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Korcan Türek to maneuver through the defense. Ahmet Boran Kayaalp stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sertel Uluç's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Anamur's zone, Tunç Ayazoğlu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ahmet Boran Kayaalp came out of the goal and Tunç Ayazoğlu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Anamur's Batu Cem Beytekin got a free kick in the 87th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Sertel Uluç managed to get in a good position for a shot. Yazihan's supporters rose to their feet, but Sertel Uluç was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ahmet Boran Kayaalp breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tayyar Ruşen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bayezit Devan having to interfere. 94 minutes into the game, Niyazi Haylaz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Yazihan's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Anamur the free kick. The supporters of Anamur booed when Yazihan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Niyazi Haylaz didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 95 minutes, Tayyar Ruşen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Anamur's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tayyar Ruşen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
