After a rather tough play, Aladag's Vacid Özaltuğ got a free kick in the 23rd minute. When Ersan İlkcan fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Aladag's protests and gave Ersan İlkcan a yellow card for diving instead. In the 30th minute there was a penalty for Yozgat FK. Ahmet Nafiz Canberk stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Çelebi Taymaz. 1-0. 33 minutes into the match, Yozgat FK's goal looked a bit too open when Ekrem Apaydın came free, but Ahmet Nafiz Bican reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 36 minutes, Çelebi Taymaz successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Cebrail Talayman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fuat Engiay kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. 48 minutes into the match, Aladag's Ersan İlkcan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ahmet Nafiz Bican narrowly saved just below the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cankut Soysaldı stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cankut Soysaldı in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Çelebi Taymaz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cebrail Talayman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ahmet Nafiz Bican having to interfere. Yozgat FK's Güntekin Biçimli got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Yozgat FK getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Güntekin Biçimli hit a great ball. After having played for 63 minutes, Vacid Özaltuğ managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Aladag's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vacid Özaltuğ was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 64th minute, Ekrem Apaydın got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 66th minute, Ekrem Apaydın fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Ahmet Nafiz Bican, passed just outside the right post. The audience was convinced that Cebrail Talayman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ahmet Nafiz Bican was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. After having played for 71 minutes, Ekrem Apaydın managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Aladag's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ekrem Apaydın was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Yozgat FK's İstemihan Oymen got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Aladag booed when Yozgat FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Güntekin Biçimli didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cebrail Talayman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ekrem Apaydın recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Cebrail Talayman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Çelebi Taymaz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from İstemihan Oymen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ekrem Apaydın in the 96th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ahmet Nafiz Bican saved Yozgat FK from getting behind. Many of Aladag's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Aladag may have spent more time on the ball, but Yozgat FK were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
