Selahaddin Yenisey showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Haşmet Kurhan, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. With a little luck, Erzincan's Selahaddin Yenisey got control of the ball when Akşemseddin Özenli tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 22 minutes, Nejat Tunçkılıç mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Erzincan and the Ikizce FK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Selahaddin Yenisey was a little too slow when Haşmet Kurhan got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 26th minute. The score was now 2-0. Haşmet Kurhan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Haşmet Kurhan made a kick off. 54 minutes in the game, Balamir Asya fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Mustafa Yaşar Ceceli having to interfere. Haşmet Kurhan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Selahaddin Yenisey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vatan Sadik hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Baha Toktuğ kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. The supporters of Erzincan booed when Ikizce FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Güntekin Bayar didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Erzincan's zone, Hüsamettin Kamver stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Selahaddin Yenisey came out of the goal and Hüsamettin Kamver tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hamdullah Kahraman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mustafa Yaşar Ceceli having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Balamir Asya in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mustafa Yaşar Ceceli prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Akşemseddin Özenli fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ikizce FK's protests and gave Akşemseddin Özenli a yellow card for diving instead.
