If Ali Ömer Barbaros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dargecit FK's Tolgahan As got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tolgahan As to make the kick off. Affan Zeynel hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Sami Özbir sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Sami Özbir had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind Kocatepe's goalkeeper Hadi İlksel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tolgahan As in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hadi İlksel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ali Ömer Barbaros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ahmet Yahya Hazlan having to interfere. Dargecit FK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kocatepe the free kick. After a rather tough play, Kocatepe's Yiğitcan Mansız got a free kick in the 95th minute. 96 minutes into the match, Dargecit FK's Emrullah Suer broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal.
