When the match clock showed 16 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Yağızhan Açıkgöz sped through Kayserispor's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Arif Çelebi Rıdvan. With 22 minutes on the clock, Ahmet Haşim Aytekin commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 21st minute, one of Gesispor:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. They were losing 2-4.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tansel Falcıoğlu was the one to do the kick off. In the 56th minute, Mustafa Ali Sağanalp got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpected shot in the 61st minute by Tansel Falcıoğlu got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Atabek Pekşen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Batıray Alkım, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. With a little luck, Gesispor's Atabek Pekşen got control of the ball when Batıray Alkım tried to sneak it across the goal line. Şahin Uman received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Atabek Pekşen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tansel Falcıoğlu in the 87th minute of play. İsa Uraltan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
