Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hakkı Deniz Ertuna in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Emirhan Tunçaslan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Halil Esendağ had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. Sancar Urandu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aras Görkem Adar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. Ceyhun Ceberut charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. After the first half Hafik were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hakkı Deniz Ertuna made a kick off. If Cenap Çağa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute.
