Aydemir Ozansoy kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. 5 minutes into the match, Ali Galip Kemal dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Arif Ensar Saban, 1-0. Şahin Özan's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 9thth minute, Arif Ensar Saban skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 10th of the match, Ali Galip Kemal tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Arif Ensar Saban got in the way and made a wonderful save. If Ali Galip Kemal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 12th minute, Aykutalp Yorangil hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arif Ensar Saban made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ali Galip Kemal in the 13th minute. 15 minutes into the match, Canakci's goalkeeper Arif Ensar Saban had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Şahin Özan. Şahin Özan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 22nd minute, Seyhun Yöntem got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 24th play minute Şahin Özan came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Arif Ensar Saban. 2-0. Gündüz Dilsaz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Seyhun Yöntem's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. Şahin Özan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arif Ensar Saban having to interfere. Seyhun Yöntem sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 43rd minute, Cezmi Zafer left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Canakci fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. 48 minutes into the match, Şahin Özan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arif Ensar Saban. Canakci's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Şahin Özan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ali Galip Kemal to strike the kick off in the second half. Şahin Özan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Arif Ensar Saban tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arif Ensar Saban showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ali Galip Kemal in the 56th minute of the match. When Ali Galip Kemal came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Manisa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ali Galip Kemal couldn't finish the play. In the 66thth minute of the game Ali Galip Kemal who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Canakci's Arif Ensar Saban was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 71 minutes into the game, Manisa's Reşat Özdel nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Arif Ensar Saban made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1. 75 minutes into the match, Manisa's goal looked a bit too open when Cezmi Zafer came free, but Gündüz Dilsaz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 78 minutes, Ediz Akkaya mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Manisa and the Canakci players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 78 played minutes Manisa got a freekick which was hit by Ediz Akkaya. Cezmi Zafer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gündüz Dilsaz having to interfere. A collision led to Manisa getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Reşat Özdel hit a great ball. Canakci's Arif Ensar Saban played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ali Galip Kemal in the 88th minute of play. The supporters of Manisa booed when Canakci was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aydemir Ozansoy didn't get a good kick on the ball. 90 minutes into the match, Canakci's goal looked a bit too open when Şahin Özan came free, but Arif Ensar Saban reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kamuran Şafakoğlu charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kamuran Şafakoğlu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Arif Ensar Saban made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Şahin Özan in the 97th minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Manisa fans cheered their team off the field, for while Canakci had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
