Tercüman's Reha Tuyuğ played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aybek Türcan in the 42nd minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Aybek Türcan was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Dursun Ali Beyan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Rıza Başkaynak managed to get in a good position for a shot. Viking Fc's supporters rose to their feet, but Rıza Başkaynak was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Reha Tuyuğ breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Ramazan Ahıska fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. Ahmet Boran Ramazanoğulları scored 3-1 in the 67th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Reha Tuyuğ, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ahmet Hayri Arıkan went to the wrong direction when Bekir Payam was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Tercüman's Reha Tuyuğ played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rıza Başkaynak in the 83rd minute of play. If Rıza Başkaynak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rıza Başkaynak struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Reha Tuyuğ didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Viking Fc. If Rıza Başkaynak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Ahmet Boran Ramazanoğulları came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Viking Fc fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ahmet Boran Ramazanoğulları couldn't finish the play.
