Gafur Payam recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Antalya getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Abdulvahit Pala hit a great ball. Halil Utku Efe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ahmet Bülent Oncel in the 37th minute of the match. 41 minutes into the match, Antalya's goal looked a bit too open when Ahmet Bülent Oncel came free, but Halil Utku Efe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Antalya's Halil Utku Efe proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save Antalya from getting a goal against them. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.
Yaşar Nuri Bağcıoğlu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from İsmail Uluç, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Turgut Dokuzoğlu fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Antalya's protests and gave Turgut Dokuzoğlu a yellow card for diving instead. After 65 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Antalya! After 70 minutes, Aykan Ruşeni mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Saruhanli and the Antalya players grew even worse after the yellow card. Aykan Ruşeni kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. After 72 minutes of play Saruhanli's Aykan Ruşeni was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 74th minute İsmail Uluç shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yaşar Nuri Bağcıoğlu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 75 minutes, Ahmet Orhan Vahat mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Saruhanli and the Antalya players grew even worse after the yellow card.
