When İhsan Sancaktar fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Menemen JK's protests and gave İhsan Sancaktar a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Menemen JK's İhsan Sancaktar got a free kick in the 37th minute. Suat Bozoğlu struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Haşim Ustam didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SerteK SK. After 42 played minutes SerteK SK got a freekick which was hit by Haşmet Uluerkan. Haşim Ustam made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hakan Değirmenci in the 48th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Suat Bozoğlu made a kick off. Dorival Pitta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from İsa Selim, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Hakkı Kenan Zafer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Dorival Pitta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Berkin Özgu hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in SerteK SK's zone, İsa Selim stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dorival Pitta came out of the goal and İsa Selim tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hakan Değirmenci sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Suat Bozoğlu succeeded in the game's 87th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-1. A collision led to Menemen JK getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Mithat Uzalp hit a great ball. When Suat Bozoğlu fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SerteK SK's protests and gave Suat Bozoğlu a yellow card for diving instead. Hakkı Kenan Zafer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. SerteK SK were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Menemen JK for a fine match.
