The audience was convinced that Bilgehan Akçakan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nazım Ülkenur was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bilgehan Akçakan in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nazım Ülkenur prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bilgehan Akçakan in the 26th minute of play forced Avanos SK's goalkeeper Nazım Ülkenur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Suphi Sevimli came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Imranli JK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Suphi Sevimli couldn't finish the play. Bilgehan Akçakan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Nazım Ülkenur tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 30th minute, Bilgehan Akçakan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Özgür Canaydin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Nazım Ülkenur tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nazım Ülkenur showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kuddusî Erboy, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. The supporters of Imranli JK booed when Avanos SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Haşmet Tükelalp didn't get a good kick on the ball. 39 minutes into the game, Emin Keyfer threw the ball into play from the sideline. Imranli JK's Ayvaz Vacit quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Nazım Ülkenur made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bilgehan Akçakan in the 43rd minute of play. When Imranli JK's Bilgehan Akçakan in the 45th minute got a chance for a shot 45th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Avanos SK's goalie prevented a goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

In the 51st minute Göktan Karakaya shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but İlbey Satıkbuğra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. İlbey Satıkbuğra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Galip Sarper in the 57th minute of play. After 59 minutes, Haşmet Tükelalp mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Avanos SK and the Imranli JK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Bilgehan Akçakan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nazım Ülkenur stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bilgehan Akçakan's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. Kuddusî Erboy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Galip Sarper in the 67th minute of play forced Imranli JK's goalkeeper İlbey Satıkbuğra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind Avanos SK's goalkeeper Nazım Ülkenur, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 69 played minutes Avanos SK got a freekick which was hit by Haşmet Tükelalp. Imranli JK's Bilgehan Akçakan got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 77th minute, Imranli JK's Reis Serhad seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Reis Serhad the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Imranli JK protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Reis Serhad had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 77th minute of the game. One of Imranli JK:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Avanos SK:s goal. The referee gave Avanos SK a penalty, 79 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Halis Neşat, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Imranli JK's İlbey Satıkbuğra. 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Özgür Canaydin in the 85th minute of play forced Avanos SK's goalkeeper Nazım Ülkenur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kuddusî Erboy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nazım Ülkenur having to interfere. Imranli JK's Özgür Canaydin got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Avanos SK's Nazım Ülkenur got control of the ball when Suphi Sevimli tried to sneak it across the goal line. Many of Imranli JK's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Imranli JK may have spent more time on the ball, but Avanos SK were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
