Ancyra FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Uluç Uzer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Ancyra FK getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Pars Toktimur hit a great ball. 22 minutes into the match, Uluç Uzer notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Karamanköy's Affan Erçevik. Affan Erçevik was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience was convinced that Ahmet Hamdi Baykurt's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mehmet Bilge Yazganalp was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. Berker Rıza Ulutay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Affan Erçevik tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Ahmet Hamdi Baykurt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 41 played minutes Karamanköy got a freekick which was hit by Emran Rezzak. Berker Rıza Ulutay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Ahmet Hamdi Baykurt came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Karamanköy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ahmet Hamdi Baykurt couldn't finish the play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Berker Rıza Ulutay to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Uluç Uzer cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Affan Erçevik was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Berker Rıza Ulutay in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Affan Erçevik saved Karamanköy from getting behind. After 65 played minutes Ancyra FK got a freekick which was hit by Zafer Aktaşoğlu. Mehmet Bilge Yazganalp took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emran Rezzak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ahmet Hamdi Baykurt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mehmet Bilge Yazganalp having to interfere. Mehmet Bilge Yazganalp showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ahmet Hamdi Baykurt, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. After a defensive mix-up in Ancyra FK's zone, Emran Rezzak stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mehmet Bilge Yazganalp came out of the goal and Emran Rezzak tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Berker Rıza Ulutay blasted a shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Affan Erçevik having to make a save. Uluç Uzer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Affan Erçevik tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Uluç Uzer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emran Rezzak scored 3-1 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mehmet Bilge Yazganalp, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Uluç Uzer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Affan Erçevik stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Uluç Uzer's shot from short distance in the 95th minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Ancyra FK fans cheered their team off the field, for while Karamanköy had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
