The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Karaisali's Bahri Özenli got a free kick in the 4th minute. After having played for 6 minutes, Selami Delioğlu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Catak's supporters crossed their fingers, but Selami Delioğlu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Necmettin Ağca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Şükrü Eripek in the 8th minute of play. If Ruhi Ceberut had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to Karaisali getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Selahaddin Uluer hit a great ball. Ruhi Ceberut recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 23rd minute, Selami Delioğlu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 29 minutes into the match, Karaisali's goalkeeper Erdi Hadim had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Selami Delioğlu. Erdi Hadim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ruhi Ceberut in the 33rd minute of the match. If Ruhi Ceberut had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 60 minutes of play, Catak's Ruhi Ceberut made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Erdi Hadim was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Ruhi Ceberut had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Erdi Hadim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ruhi Ceberut in the 70th minute of the match. In the 72nd minute, Selami Delioğlu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Catak fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. 76 minutes into the match, Ruhi Ceberut notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Karaisali's Erdi Hadim. Erdi Hadim was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After having played for 94 minutes, Ruhi Ceberut managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Catak's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ruhi Ceberut was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Catak's Selami Delioğlu got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
