Ahmet İlke Hafız showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ahmet Ziya Bayar, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ahmet Hayri Yağan in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cafer Başar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 24th minute, Alemdar Tekmil got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ahmet İlke Hafız showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alemdar Tekmil in the 26th minute of the match. In the 29th match minute, Kilis was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hürkan Tandan to maneuver through the defense. 30 minutes into the match, Kemaliye's Pekin Arslantürk broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Cafer Başar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ahmet Hayri Yağan in the 33rd minute of the match. Hürkan Tandan kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. A collision led to Kemaliye getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Necip Yörük hit a great ball. Ahmet İlke Hafız didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alemdar Tekmil went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Ahmet Hayri Yağan received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Cafer Başar came out and tried to block the shot, but Ahmet Hayri Yağan slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 43rd minute.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ahmet Hayri Yağan to strike the kick off in the second half. After having played for 52 minutes, İzzettin Bozbey managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kemaliye's supporters crossed their fingers, but İzzettin Bozbey was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Kilis's Naim Yaşanur got a free kick in the 57th minute. Feridun Acabay's late challenge caught a Kemaliye's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Feridun Acabay helped the player get up and apologised. In the 61st minute of the match Pekin Arslantürk shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cafer Başar showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Kemaliye's İzzettin Bozbey got a free kick in the 63rd minute. The supporters of Kilis booed when Kemaliye was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. İzzettin Bozbey didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ahmet Hayri Yağan in the 91st minute of play forced Kilis's goalkeeper Cafer Başar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 91 minutes into the match, Ahmet Hayri Yağan notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Kilis's Cafer Başar. Cafer Başar was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Alemdar Tekmil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. İzzettin Bozbey charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed İzzettin Bozbey the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 96 played minutes Kemaliye got a freekick which was hit by İzzettin Bozbey. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ahmet Ziya Bayar in the 97th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ahmet İlke Hafız saved Kemaliye from getting behind. Kemaliye were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Kilis for a fine match.
