Doğukan Kuddusi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Özal Güleç struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Doğukan Kuddusi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Saimbeyli. Doğukan Kuddusi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Özal Güleç, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Özal Güleç to strike the kick off in the second half. After 52 minutes, Faik Tun mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Saimbeyli and the Sarayönü players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 52 played minutes Saimbeyli got a freekick which was hit by Faik Tun. When Gencay Seri came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Sarayönü fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gencay Seri couldn't finish the play. Yunus Omay charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Yunus Omay the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Sarayönü's Yunus Omay got a free kick in the 55th minute. Doğukan Kuddusi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Özal Güleç, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Anıl Arda Türköne managed to get in a good position for a shot. Saimbeyli's supporters rose to their feet, but Anıl Arda Türköne was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Doğukan Kuddusi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 72nd minute Yüksel Yağın shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gökçe Vahdet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With his leg Doğukan Kuddusi managed to avoid a goal in the 77thth minute, when Saimbeyli's Anıl Arda Türköne fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Behzat Özaltan hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Sarayönü's zone, Özal Güleç stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Doğukan Kuddusi came out of the goal and Özal Güleç tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Anıl Arda Türköne who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 89thth minute tested the skills of Doğukan Kuddusi when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Abdülhak Özal kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. In the 98th minute, Hurşit Ülmen sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Sarayönü's Doğukan Kuddusi didn't even have to move.
