The Gerede SK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. 15 minutes into the match, Baykan's goal looked a bit too open when Güney İlighan came free, but Arda Göksel Beksan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 17th minute Güney İlighan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arda Göksel Beksan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kurtuluş Uygur took the ball and in the 18 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arda Göksel Beksan. Arda Göksel Beksan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Birkan Sarıcabay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emran Ilıcak having to interfere. Gerede SK's Emran Ilıcak proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Gerede SK from getting a goal against them. Kurtuluş Uygur scored 0-4 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Arda Göksel Beksan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 30 minutes into the match, Güney İlighan notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of Baykan's Arda Göksel Beksan. Arda Göksel Beksan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 35th match minute, Gerede SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Koray Elfaz to maneuver through the defense. 37 minutes into the match, Gerede SK's goalkeeper Emran Ilıcak had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Çeliker Cezlan. Köksal Akartuna hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Güney İlighan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gerede SK's supporters rose to their feet, but Güney İlighan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arda Göksel Beksan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Baykan's Köksal Akartuna got a free kick in the 41st minute. Güney İlighan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Arda Göksel Beksan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arda Göksel Beksan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kurtuluş Uygur, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half Gerede SK were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rafettin Yaşer to strike the kick off in the second half. Onur Ali Özben recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kurtuluş Uygur received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Arda Göksel Beksan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Güney İlighan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Arda Göksel Beksan made a huge save. Güney İlighans short, quick shot in the 65thth minute got Arda Göksel Beksan to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Baykan's Arda Göksel Beksan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nazım Kuvvet in the 66th minute of play. When Güney İlighan came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Gerede SK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Güney İlighan couldn't finish the play. Arda Göksel Beksan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kurtuluş Uygur in the 68th minute. Kurtuluş Uygur sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Güney İlighan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Baykan's Arda Göksel Beksan got control of the ball when Kurtuluş Uygur tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gerede SK's Güney İlighan got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 81 played minutes Kurtuluş Uygur rounded Baykan's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-7. Emran Ilıcak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rafettin Yaşer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Çeliker Cezlan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arda Göksel Beksan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Güney İlighan in the 88th minute. Arda Göksel Beksan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kurtuluş Uygur, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Köksal Akartuna charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Köksal Akartuna the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 90th minute, Köksal Akartuna hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rafettin Yaşer in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Emran Ilıcak prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
