Ahmet Göktuğ Nedret hit a great ball. Akşemseddin Baykır's late challenge caught a Kazan's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Akşemseddin Baykır helped the player get up and apologised. Akşemseddin Baykır hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Kazan's Gürbüz Tarhan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Şeray Sadan in the 20th minute of play. Ergincan Batır received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Gürbüz Tarhan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kazan's Ümit Ege got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Şeray Sadan kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Gürbüz Tarhan. That made the score 1-0 in the 33 minute of play. Mücahit Boğatekin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Hamdi Bucuk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 40 minutes into the match, Kazan's goal looked a bit too open when Şeray Sadan came free, but Gürbüz Tarhan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gürbüz Tarhan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ergincan Batır in the 41st minute. Gürbüz Tarhan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Şeray Sadan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ali Nabi Necmi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mücahit Boğatekin made a kick off. Hikmet Yalaza might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hamdi Bucuk. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hikmet Yalaza ran back to his position shaking his head. A hard shot 55 in the game by Mücahit Boğatekin from a close distance when the talented Hamdi Bucuk managed to make a qualified save. Yalova's players were relieved. In the 55th minute, Akşemseddin Baykır hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Ergincan Batır had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hamdi Bucuk made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Mücahit Boğatekin sent off a good shot on target. In the 81st match minute, Yalova was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bilge Kağan Mümtaz to maneuver through the defense. Gürbüz Tarhan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ergincan Batır in the 83rd minute of play. Hamdi Bucuk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mücahit Boğatekin in the 90th minute of play. Mücahit Boğatekin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hamdi Bucuk having to interfere. A collision led to Yalova getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Ahmet Hakan Neşat hit a great ball. If Cemal Atay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Yalova succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Kazan had controlled the match.
