Semavi Gümüş showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Saip Pekşen, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. If Tolga Durhal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Semavi Gümüş showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Saip Pekşen in the 13th minute of the match. After 13 minutes of play, Feneryolu's Saip Pekşen made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Semavi Gümüş was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Samsun JK getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Gencay Ehlimen hit a great ball. After having played for 19 minutes, Vahdet Malik managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Samsun JK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vahdet Malik was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Feneryolu booed when Samsun JK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Çağatay Altunç didn't get a good kick on the ball. Feneryolu's Nedim Öztaş couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Samsun JK. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind Feneryolu's goalkeeper Nurettin Başkara, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Ahmet Koralp Taki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Vahdet Malik managed to get in a good position for a shot. Samsun JK's supporters rose to their feet, but Vahdet Malik was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nurettin Başkara breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tolga Durhal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Semavi Gümüş tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 39th minute, Gencay Ehlimen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Saip Pekşen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Semavi Gümüş having to interfere. Semavi Gümüş didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tolga Durhal went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Nurettin Başkara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vahdet Malik in the 54th minute of the match. Semavi Gümüş took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tolga Durhal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 60th minute, Gencay Ehlimen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Tolga Durhal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Semavi Gümüş took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Semail Saykal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Saip Pekşen had several of the Samsun JK's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 66 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-3 score and a disappointed Semavi Gümüş as he didn't even see the shot coming. Semail Saykal hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ahmet Koralp Taki in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nurettin Başkara prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Samsun JK's zone, Saip Pekşen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Semavi Gümüş came out of the goal and Saip Pekşen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Semavi Gümüş showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tolga Durhal in the 73rd minute of the match. After 74 minutes, Bedir Kadrettin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Samsun JK and the Feneryolu players grew even worse after the yellow card. Saip Pekşen struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Semavi Gümüş didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Feneryolu. Nurettin Başkara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmet Koralp Taki in the 77th minute of play. In the 78th minute the ball was on its way in behind Feneryolu's goalkeeper Nurettin Başkara, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Saip Pekşen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Semavi Gümüş made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Saip Pekşen sent off a good shot on target. When the final whistle sounded Feneryolu left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Samsun JK.
