After a defensive mix-up in Kepsut's zone, Gazi Cangiray stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dilmen Özkok came out of the goal and Gazi Cangiray tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 7th match minute, Kepsut was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Orhan Veli Özol to maneuver through the defense. Güney Bozbora received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Dilmen Özkok tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Güney Bozbora fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dilmen Özkok having to interfere. Ahmet Hafiz Durualp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cüneyt Ezgü having to interfere. Fethi Eryavuz charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fethi Eryavuz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Kepsut fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 19th minute. Penalty! In the 21st minute there was a penalty for Celtik FK. Sezen Akçal stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Dilmen Özkok. 0-1. Berkant Çağlar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Erdeniz Nuralp struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Cüneyt Ezgü didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kepsut. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Güney Bozbora in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dilmen Özkok saved Kepsut from getting behind. If Güney Bozbora had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 38th minute, Erdeniz Seylab hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 44th minute Gazi Cangiray shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dilmen Özkok saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Celtik FK's zone, Ahmet Hafiz Durualp stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cüneyt Ezgü came out of the goal and Ahmet Hafiz Durualp tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gazi Cangiray was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Berkant Çağlar fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Dilmen Özkok, passed just outside the right post. Güney Bozbora who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 55thth minute tested the skills of Dilmen Özkok when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Cüneyt Ezgü showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ahmet Hafiz Durualp, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Güney Bozbora who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 61stth minute tested the skills of Dilmen Özkok when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Kepsut's Dilmen Özkok played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gazi Cangiray in the 63rd minute of play. If Güney Bozbora had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Çağrı Hasankeyf hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Güney Bozbora took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dilmen Özkok. Dilmen Özkok dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. The audience thought a goal was coming when Güney Bozbora got free with Dilmen Özkok in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cüneyt Ezgü showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erdeniz Nuralp in the 84th minute of the match. Gazi Cangiray sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Ahmet Hafiz Durualp managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kepsut's supporters rose to their feet, but Ahmet Hafiz Durualp was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cüneyt Ezgü breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Güney Bozbora fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dilmen Özkok having to interfere. Güney Bozbora could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Dilmen Özkok made a huge save. The Kepsut fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Celtik FK were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
