Nazil Özmen charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nazil Özmen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 12 played minutes Merinos JK got a freekick which was hit by Nazil Özmen. A collision led to Ergani getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Aşır Baykal hit a great ball. If Zekeriya Kutel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind Merinos JK's goalkeeper Hamdi Tanbolat, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Zekeriya Kutel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ergani's supporters rose to their feet, but Zekeriya Kutel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hamdi Tanbolat breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ender Kamaci in the 37th minute of play forced Ergani's goalkeeper Balaban Kılıçer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 38th minute, Zekeriya Kutel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Ergani's zone, Sefa Soysaldı stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Balaban Kılıçer came out of the goal and Sefa Soysaldı tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Merinos JK's Nazil Özmen suffered a concussion in the 61st minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. 65 minutes into the game, Arif Gaffar Vaha was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Merinos JK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ergani the free kick. After 65 played minutes Merinos JK got a freekick which was hit by Arif Gaffar Vaha. Arif Egemen Niyazi took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 66th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Hamdi Tanbolat. Merinos JK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The supporters of Merinos JK booed when Ergani was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ekrem Cantez didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Müjdat Uman fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Merinos JK's protests and gave Müjdat Uman a yellow card for diving instead. Müjdat Uman kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Ergani's Arif Egemen Niyazi got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Ender Kamaci received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute.
