Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Hafız Özerdinc started the match with the kick off. Mesut Bayraktaroğlus short, quick shot in the 4thth minute got Özalp Özbala to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Özalp Özbala made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sedat Sezer in the 9th minute of play. Hakkı Deniz Sanbay recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 14 minutes, Hafız Özerdinc mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Polateli and the Dernekpazari players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 14th match minute, Polateli was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hafız Özerdinc to maneuver through the defense. When the match clock showed 17 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Hafız Özerdinc sped through Dernekpazari's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Gencalp İklim. After a defensive mix-up in Polateli's zone, Sedat Sezer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Özalp Özbala came out of the goal and Sedat Sezer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Dernekpazari getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Turgay Soysaldı hit a great ball. Hulki Eronat, 25 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Özalp Özbala showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sedat Sezer, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Sedat Sezer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Özalp Özbala tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hafız Özerdinc sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 35 minutes into the game, Ayhan Ünlem was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Polateli's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dernekpazari the free kick. In a very dangerous position, a player in Polateli fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 35th minute. Penalty! 1-1 came through a penalty shot after 37 played minutes, when Dernekpazari:s Necip Atasan calmly waited for Polateli:s goalkeeper to move before he rolled in the ball by the right post. Necip Atasan walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. In the 46th minute, Hafız Özerdinc got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Polateli booed when Dernekpazari was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hakkı Deniz Sanbay didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 49th minute, Hafız Özerdinc managed to get in a good position for a shot. Polateli's supporters rose to their feet, but Hafız Özerdinc was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gencalp İklim breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sedat Sezer to make the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sedat Sezer in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Özalp Özbala saved Polateli from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Polateli's zone, Sedat Sezer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Özalp Özbala came out of the goal and Sedat Sezer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mesut Bayraktaroğlu struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Özalp Özbala didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dernekpazari. 71 minutes into the match, Mesut Bayraktaroğlu notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Polateli's Özalp Özbala. Özalp Özbala was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Mesut Bayraktaroğlu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tayfun Temizöz's late challenge caught a Dernekpazari's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tayfun Temizöz helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Dernekpazari booed when Polateli was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tayfun Temizöz didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Mesut Bayraktaroğlu came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Dernekpazari fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mesut Bayraktaroğlu couldn't finish the play. In the 82ndth minute of the game Sedat Sezer who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Polateli's Özalp Özbala was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 83rd minute, Tayfun Temizöz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sedat Sezer in the 86th minute of play forced Polateli's goalkeeper Özalp Özbala to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 88 minutes into the match, Sedat Sezer had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Özalp Özbala. Polateli's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sedat Sezer was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. Sedat Sezer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Özalp Özbala having to interfere. Akın Tanyol could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Gencalp İklim made a huge save. 97 minutes into the match, Polateli's goal looked a bit too open when Mesut Bayraktaroğlu came free, but Özalp Özbala reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Polateli's Ozan Afşaroğlu got a free kick in the 98th minute. In the 99th minute Sedat Sezer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Özalp Özbala saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Dernekpazari had won after a very even match.
