Mezarlikbasi JK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Süreyya Kocaalp was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Süreyya Kocaalp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Batıkan Peker fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cumhur Tuğlu having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Batıkan Peker managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mezarlikbasi JK's supporters rose to their feet, but Batıkan Peker was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cumhur Tuğlu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Arda Göksel Kandemir to make the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Ahmet Orhan Erkinay kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Muhammet Kunt. That made the score 1-1 in the 54 minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Ahmet Orhan Erkinay managed to get in a good position for a shot. SARITAŞ FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ahmet Orhan Erkinay was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Muhammet Kunt breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that Ahmet Orhan Erkinay's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Muhammet Kunt was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. Cumhur Tuğlu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
