Dündar Yanal came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by Basciftlik FK's Ahmet Danış Eğriöz. But to his dismay, Ahmet Danış Eğriöz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Birant Polat charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Birant Polat the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Basciftlik FK getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Birant Polat hit a great ball. In the 12th minute Naci Yankı shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Balamir Dural saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Besim Sidal in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dündar Yanal saved Yakakent from getting behind. Balamir Dural was a little too slow when Naci Yankı got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 18th minute. The score was now 1-1. Mümtazer Totuk hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. The supporters of Basciftlik FK booed when Yakakent was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mehmet Hakkı Yürükoğlu didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 24 minutes, Besim Sidal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Basciftlik FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Besim Sidal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Basciftlik FK's Balamir Dural proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Basciftlik FK from getting a goal against them. Anıl Ege Filiz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Balamir Dural read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. In the 40th minute, Basciftlik FK's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Naci Yankı fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Balamir Dural took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Naci Yankı, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Besim Sidal to make the kick off. Balamir Dural showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Naci Yankı, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Balamir Dural didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Naci Yankı went, in the 57th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. In the 61st minute, Naci Yankı made a precise shot to the right of Balamir Dural. Basciftlik FK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. Ahmet Kutsi Umurbay's late challenge caught a Basciftlik FK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ahmet Kutsi Umurbay helped the player get up and apologised. In the 66th match minute, Yakakent was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ahmet Kutsi Umurbay to maneuver through the defense. Birant Polat was shown his second yellow card after 85 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. When the match had gone on for 90 minutes, Anıl Ege Filiz put it in 5-1 from a short distance just to the right of Balamir Dural. Balamir Dural took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anıl Ege Filiz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 96th minute, Anıl Ege Filiz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Anıl Ege Filiz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 99th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Balamir Dural having to interfere.
