With a couple of smart ball manuevers Selahaddin Baykan in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kurtuluş Urandu saved Kozan SK from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Lütfü Tuyan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kozan SK's supporters rose to their feet, but Lütfü Tuyan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arif Bilge Emrettin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Kozan SK's Özen Tengiroğlu got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Aykan Eryetiş charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down.
