Özkan Kabak struck a weak shot in the 3rd minute. Ahmet Kadri Paşa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Balatspor. In the 6th minute İsmail Cem Serbülend shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Akşemseddin Okutan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Balatspor's Arif Vasif in 9 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Ahmet Kadri Paşa guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. In the 17th minute, Arif Vasif reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ahmet Kadri Paşa. The goal made the score 1-0. 20 minutes into the match, İsmail Cem Serbülend had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Akşemseddin Okutan. Balatspor's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that İsmail Cem Serbülend was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Akşemseddin Okutan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from İsmail Cem Serbülend in the 24th minute of play. After 27 minutes, Mehmet Efe Ongunalp mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Balatspor and the Real Madrid FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 27th match minute, Balatspor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mehmet Efe Ongunalp to maneuver through the defense. İsmail Cem Serbülend took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Akşemseddin Okutan. Akşemseddin Okutan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Arif Vasif recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 39th match minute, Balatspor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Celal Bakır to maneuver through the defense. Seyfullah Saraçoğlu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 44th minute İsmail Cem Serbülend shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Akşemseddin Okutan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Akşemseddin Okutan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hamdullah Tokcan in the 45th minute of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hamdullah Tokcan made a kick off. İsmail Cem Serbülend's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Akşemseddin Okutan firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 54th minute Hamdullah Tokcan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Akşemseddin Okutan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Hamdullah Tokcan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Arif Vasif during the 64th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Balatspor getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Arif Vasif hit a great ball. Hamdullah Tokcan might have been able to make a better finish in the 73rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Akşemseddin Okutan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hamdullah Tokcan ran back to his position shaking his head. Akşemseddin Okutan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hamdullah Tokcan, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. 80 minutes into the match, Balatspor's goalkeeper Akşemseddin Okutan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hamdullah Tokcan. Arif Vasif fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ahmet Kadri Paşa having to interfere. Arif Vasif sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 95th minute, Hamdullah Tokcan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Real Madrid FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Real Madrid FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
